Berkshire Historic Environment Forum

Berkshire’s Historic Environment is the term used to link together all the factors which have made Berkshire what it is today. It includes: the documentary, archaeological, historical, and folk memory evidence as well as the physical environment resulting from farming, industry, commerce and general development over the centuries

The objectives of the Forum are:

(i) To share knowledge and concerns about Berkshire’s Historic Environment

(ii) To encourage cooperation between individuals and organisations

(iii) To promote care for Berkshire’s Historic Environment amongst the general public

(iv) To support local societies in pursuance of similar objectives
